On the January 19, 2025, the Nordic Contemporary Art Center hosted a remarkable “exhibition within an exhibition” event.
Young artists aged 6 to 16 from Inner Mongolia’s “Gifts of the Earth: Art Mountains and Waters” Xiamen art study tour engaged in a cross-cultural artistic dialogue through their paintings with students from the art interest class of Vittsjö School in Sweden.
During their tour, the young artists explored Xiamen and Daimei Ancient Village in Zhangzhou. They engaged in outdoor sketching and cultural learning.
At the event, they showcased their artworks and participated in meaningful exchanges with Professor Wang Tong, German artist Uwe Schall, and Filipino artist Bong Ants. This unforgettable experience not only highlighted the diversity of art but also inspired the children on their artistic journey, leaving a lasting impact on their creative growth.
