Materials: Crushed soda cans, iron rods, cement, chicken wire

The Lost Dolphin is the 8th sculpture created by Uwe Schall (Germany), Yatao Zhang (China) and Bong Ants (Philippines) since 2020. The framework of the sculpture is made of iron rods on cement foundation. This is wrapped with chicken wires and covered with crashed soda cans all over to create a metallic finish using recycled materials.

Dolphins play a cucial role in multiple aspects of nature and human culture, making them highly significant creatures. They are the apex predators in their marine environment, playing a vital role in maintaining the balance of marine ecosystem. They help control the population of their prey, ensuring healthy growth and reproduction of marine species.

Dolphins are playful and fosters human connections and bringing about awareness about ocean conservation. They truly embody a bond between nature and human beings.

Dolphins hold a special place in the hearts of many, thanks to their intelligence, grace, and playful nature. As a powerful symbol in various cultures throughout history, the dolphin represents a multitude of qualities such as joy, harmony, balance, resilience, and emotional intelligence.
