ASEAN Culture & Art Creation 5

The ASEAN Cultural and Art Creation Season (Fifth Season) International Exhibition “Connecting the Silk Road·Impression of Overseas Chinese Hometown” recently opened in Xiamen, Fujian. The Asian Arts Association (Macau) was invited to co-organize the exhibition.

The exhibition is directed by the International Liaison Department of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and is jointly sponsored by the Fujian Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the Xiamen Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and the Propaganda Department of the Jimei District Committee. Organized by the ASEAN Cultural and Economic Exchange Center, and co-organized by Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and the Asian Arts Association (Macau), the opening ceremony was held at the Xiamen ASEAN Exchange Center. Consuls general of Southeast Asian countries in Xiamen, Fujian Province, Xiamen City and Jimei District Leaders of the Federation of Literary and Art Circles officiated.

This year’s works are large in quantity and high in quality, reflecting the humanistic characteristics of the countries along the Maritime Silk Road. This year is the “China-ASEAN Year of Cultural Exchanges”. For the first time, it is guided by the International Liaison Department of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and sponsored by the Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles. Chinese participating artists Many of them are members of the presidium of the Provincial Artists Association and the Provincial Calligraphers Association. More than 60 artists from 16 overseas countries and regions participated in the exhibition, with high standards, many fine products, and wide influence.

The international exhibitions blended Chinese and Western art and appreciated nearly 200 works of art from different ethnic groups.
