On the January 20, 2025, the Talent Office of the Municipal Party Committee of Xiamen and the Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau jointly held the first foreign talent exchange and docking meeting, attracting more than 100 foreign talents from more than 40 countries, including Germany, Philippines, Ukraine, India, France, Australia and the United States, to negotiate and connect.
At the docking meeting, the first batch of more than 20 employers such as Kehua Data and Jianfeng Co. Ltd. released their international talent recruitment needs, covering the “4+4+6” modern industrial system, as well as the fields of university scientific research and international education, with a focus on recruiting urgently needed foreign talents such as algorithm engineers and overseas market directors, with a maximum annual salary of 1.5 million yuan.
According to the person in charge of the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of Xiamen City, the talent work department has collected 45 units, including private enterprises, state-owned enterprises, foreign-invested enterprises, and schools, to recruit foreign talents for 65 positions and a demand of nearly 170 people. In addition to arranging the first batch of on-site docking, all positions will be published through online recruitment platforms such as “Xiamen International Talent Recruitment Window,” “Xiamen Talent Network,” and “i Returnee.” In the next step, we will also expand the collection of foreign talent positions in various industries, and continue to serve employers by conducting overseas recruitment and inviting exchanges to Xiamen.
